Jun 15

The 59th Annual Poultry Festival is just around the corner! Mark your calendar for June 15-16 to join us for the most anticipated event of the year.

For nearly six decades, The Poultry Federation (TPF) has hosted the annual event celebrating the poultry and egg industry with its finest. We are excited to be reinstating a theme for this year's festival. The theme is Peace, Love & Poultry. We hope to see the John Q Hammons Center parking lot filled with station wagons, VW Vans, 8 track tapes, roller skates, Charlie’s Angels, wide collard shirts, Bee Gees, shag carpet, School House Rock, lava lamps, big patterns, platform shoes, macrame and more! If you have never been to the Barbecue Cookoff on Saturday, this is the year to participate and attend!

The festival draws members and friends of the industry from all across the country. In 2017, over 5,200 tickets were sold to the festival, impacting the Rogers economy by $4.19 million.

Friday, June 15, will be packed with events including a fishing tournament, golf tournament, trap shoot and ladies luncheon. The day will conclude with a Industry Awards Ceremony and then it is time to get into a few bidding wars at the Allied Industries Scholarship Auction. In 2017, TPF raised $107,205 for the Allied Industries Scholarship Fund through the participation of attendees at the auction. A total of $125,500 was awarded in scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Saturday, June 16, is the most anticipated day of the entire festival. The John Q. Hammons Center parking lot will be a buzz with cooks firing up their grills, barbecue teams dressed in festive outfits and tents that are more like something you would see off of a movie set. On-site activities for the day include a youth 4-H cooking contest, skits and awards, and plenty of Yarnell’s ice cream to keep your sweet tooth satisfied. If you leave hungry, it is your own fault. Join us Saturday evening for a barbecue dinner and see who takes home the winning prizes from the barbecue cook off. At the conclusion of the dinner head over to the Walmart Amp to hear Neal McCoy open for headliner Justin Moore.

Golf Tournament

Select your own four person team or sign up as a single and be paired on a random team based on handicap. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
