In 2018 the Federation hosted their 23rd Annual Allied Industries Scholarship Auction which raised over $100,000. For over 20 years, TPF has provided scholarships to deserving young people interested in pursuing a career in the poultry and egg industry. All proceeds from the auction are applied to the scholarship fund. A total of $155,000 was awarded to 40 students for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Saturday, June 16, is the most anticipated day of the entire festival. The John Q. Hammons Center parking lot will be a buzz with cooks firing up their grills, barbecue teams dressed in festive outfits and tents that are more like something you would see off of a movie set.

On-site activities for the day include the Arkansas 4-H barbecue contest, allied and poultry member barbecue contest, the 2nd annual chicken wing eating competition and plenty of Yarnell’s ice cream to keep your sweet tooth satisfied. If you leave hungry, it is your own fault.

Join us Saturday evening for a barbecue dinner and see who takes home the Grand Champion trophy from the barbecue contest.

At the conclusion of dinner head over to the Walmart Amp to hear headliner, Sara Evans and open act, Neal McCoy take the stage. We look forward to seeing you under the big top!
