Zinpro Corporation, the industry leader in performance trace mineral nutrition for livestock, poultry, aquaculture and companion animals, announces that Alia Aljamal, Ph.D., has joined the company as a poultry research assistant.
Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, Dr. Aljamal will support the company’s Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) team, conduct scientific research reviews and prepare research and production-related information for internal and external communications.
Dr. Aljamal is the co-author of several peer-reviewed poultry research publications and has extensive experience in designing, conducting and analyzing poultry nutrition and management experiments that involve trace mineral and vitamin supplementation. She earned a doctorate in animal science-poultry nutrition from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal production from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Ar-Ramtha, Jordan.

Most recently, Dr. Aljamal was employed as an adjunct faculty member at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. She had also worked both as a teaching and research assistant.
