Former State Senator, Neely Cassady of Nashville, AR. will be one of five inductees into the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame.  Cassady operated a hatchery for many years, establishing an integration which eventually was incorporated into Tyson Foods.  He served for 14 years in the Arkansas State Senate and is a past president of the Arkansas Poultry Federation and was a member of the Board of Directors of Tyson Foods.

Mark Simmons, Chairman of the Board of Simmons Foods will the second poultry-industry inductee.  He has served his Company in the current position since 1987. Simmons Foods employees over 6,000 in twenty facilities and has annual sales in excess of $1.4 billion. Mark Simmons is a founding member of the Northwest Arkansas Council and is a board member of the Walton Family Support Trust in addition to many civic and charitable organizations.
