The Poultry Federation (TPF) awarded a total of $219,500 in scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year to 35 undergraduate and 19 graduate students in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Arkansas

The Poultry Federation (TPF) offers undergraduate and graduate scholarships for Arkansas college students. 

TPF continues to partner with the Arkansas Community Foundation (ARCF) for assistance with the scholarship process and distribution of funds for students attending Arkansas universities. The scholarship application process can be accessed online with ARCF at www.arcf.org. Students may enter required information and submit required documentation through a simple online form.

The application period is open Monday, February 3, 2020 through Monday, March 16, 2020. All applications are due and should be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CST, March 16, 2019. Applications submitted after this time will not be accepted.

TPF offers scholarships to sophomore, junior, senior and graduate level students pursuing a degree that would lead to a career in the poultry and egg industry. 

How to Apply

To apply, go online to the ARCF website and find The Poultry Federation Scholarship Fund. Students may also browse through available scholarships by interest area and select agriculture. Students will be required to create an account to view and complete the application.

Selection of Recipients

All scholarship recipients are selected in a collaborative effort by the TPF Scholarship Committee and ARCF. All applications submitted by the deadline are graded using established grading guidelines.

Missouri

Scholarships are available for juniors or seniors currently enrolled in accredited Missouri post-secondary institutions pursuing a career in the poultry and egg industry.

The application period is open Monday, February 3, 2020 through Monday, March 16, 2020. All applications are due and should be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CST, March 16, 2019. Applications submitted after this time will not be accepted.

Oklahoma

Scholarships are available to students continuing their studies at Oklahoma State University College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

Tips for assuring your application gets sent to the college and major in which you are interested:
 All students, despite their major interest, who complete the OSU Admission Application will be eligible to compete for University-wide scholarships including tuition wavier scholarships, President's Leadership Council Scholarships and numerous other scholarships.

To ensure a student is considered for scholarships from CASNR and it's departments, he or she needs to choose a program of study (major) that is offered through CASNR.

The application period is open Friday, Novemeber 1, 2020 through Thursday, January 23, 2020. All applications are due and should be submitted by Thursday, January 23, 2020. Applications submitted after this time will not be accepted.

How to Apply

All applicants must complete an online application through the Oklahoma State University Animal Science Department.
